Terms and Conditions
A. Exercise Classes / Events
- By purchasing A FRIEND CARD pass you are entitled to attend any of the classes listed on the calendar / timetable as listed as WEEKLY CLASS or where it is stated cards are acceptable. These have 4 month expiry date from date of purchase including the free classes you may have obtained on the card. If the card was won/given to you as a gift the 4 month expiry does not apply.
- On entry into a Class you are in agreement with these terms & conditions. You must confirm to that you have no medical conditions known to you that would mean that you are not capable of all forms of exercise and that such exercise will not be detrimental to your health. If in doubt, it is your sole responsibility to consult a medical professional or to not partake in the class.
- You are required to have your own personal medical cover that is suitable for the events you are to partake in.
- Your Card applies to you personally. You may not transfer, assign or lend it to another person & it is your responsibility to be aware of it's expiry date.
- We reserve the right to implement a waiting list if we feel it necessary to do so.
D. Payments and Fees
- You must pay for a Classes/Events via a Card/ Cash or via the online booking system if available – as stated on the class/event description.
- Your payments for non pre-booked Classes/Events are due immediately at the time of attendance and are non-refundable under any circumstances.
- All fees and charges are subject to periodic increases and we reserve the right to change the costs of our services at any point. 28 days notice will be given if this occurs.
- It is your responsibility to purchase the card suitable for your needs from the choices available or use the pay as you go option.
- We do not offer refunds for attended classes or lost/ stolen cards or cards that are beyond the date of expiry given to you at time of purchase.
E. Refunds
- Under no circumstances do we offer refunds for attended classes or lost/ stolen cards or cards that are beyond the date of expiry given to you at time of purchase.
F. Cancellation Policy
- Pre- Booked Special Events must be cancelled no less than 24 hours before the start time.
- If a pre-booked class is cancelled by you the client, with less than 24 hours notice the session will be charged to you, the client.
- To cancel a either phone (0631094938) and let us know. This can also be done via the Group Messenger online system.
G. Cancellation by us
- We may cancel use of a Friend Card without notice if you commit a material breach of this agreement including, but not limited to, a breach of theTerms & Conditions, abuse or threatening behaviour or vandalism or other illegal activity.
- We reserve the right to cancel any Exercise Class, Special Event or Private Personal Training Session if an instructor is unable to attend due to unavoidable circumstances or if the site of the event has become unavailable or unsuitable.
H. Freezing a card
- Cards may be frozen in the event of serious temporary illness, injury or medical condition upon appropriate proof from a doctor or other suitably qualified medical professional.
- Other reasons may be discussed & are at our discretion.
I. Data Collection
- In the course of your attendance we may collect certain personal information from you including personal details, financial details and details about your health. We will use this information for purposes including managing your classes and contacting you. You will always be given the opportunity to opt out of such communications by getting in touch with us. You have the duty of keeping your personal information up to date and to inform us if you have any significant changes.
- We will limit the access to the processing of personal information to our employees and management who may require its use for marketing or other services.
- We reserve the right to take photos of our events (which may include you, unless you wish to opt out which you can do at times when photos are being taken) for press and other promotional uses.
J. Hours
- Class/ Event times are listed on the calendar or have been agreed by the instructor & you, the client for personal sessions or private events.
K. Health commitment statement.
PAR - Questionnaire forms may be issued to you. It is your responsibility to fill these in & get them back to us with all of the listed information completed. Please be aware that Cards may be frozen by you the client (H - above) & by us the provider, in the event of serious temporary illness, injury or medical condition upon appropriate proof from a doctor or other suitably qualified medical professional.
Our commitment to you
- We will make every reasonable effort to make sure that our classes are safe & effective with instructors that are qualified to the appropriate standard required to take the session & are not responsible for any issues concerning the premises that the classes/events take place.
- We will provide equipment at times for you to use, you do not have to use it & you may bring your own if you prefer.
- We will respect your own personal decisions. You do not have any obligation to follow what our instructors advise you to do. We will however ask you not to exercise beyond what we think are your own abilities.
- We will take every appropriate action to inform you of class & events updates/cancellations/ change of venues & alike through the means available to us at the time.
- We will keep the class calendar & website up to date with the relevant information.
Your commitment to us
- You should always exercise in a safe manor. You should exercise to your own abilities. If you are concerned or know that you may have a medical condition that may affect your training before you use our facility you should seek medical advice prior to starting an exercise programme or session.
- If you feel ill during a session you should let us know immediately. Our instructors are not doctors but are first aid qualified.
- If you have a disability you must follow any reasonable instruction to allow you to train in a safe environment.
- You should make yourself aware of any rules or instructions within the class & the facility. There are risks when exercising. You should not undertake any exercises that you have been told are not suitable for you.
- You are required to be responsible for keeping up to date with the information provided to you about the classes via the website/email & messenger group...or other means that may be available.
- If you are unsure of any of the information provided it is your responsibility to enquire further before proceeding further.
